Dubai Summer Sales 2026 Dates – Mark Your Calendar

The Dubai Summer Surprises sale usually runs for about 2 months.

For 2026, it started in late June and will go until around the end of August. The best part? The biggest discounts usually drop in the last 2 weeks of August.

Pro tip from me: Go on weekdays in the morning. Less crowd, more stock. I learned this the hard way last year 😅

Top 5 Malls With The Best Deals Right Now

I checked 3 malls last weekend with my wife. Honestly, some places were just putting “sale” stickers but nothing real. Online its shows there is a lot offers when’s I reached over there It’s totally different. I was shocked. Even my wife is also shocked what we see online offers and now sitution is totally different.

These 5 are actually worth your time and petrol:

  • Dubai Mall – If you want branded stuff. I saw Zara and H&M at 60% to 70% off. Also good for electronics in Virgin.
  • Mall of the Emirates – Same brands as Dubai Mall but less crowded on weekdays. Plus Ski Dubai tickets were 25% off too.
  • Ibn Battuta Mall – My favorite for home items. Got a coffee maker for half price. Parking is easy here.
  • City Centre Deira – Best for kids. I bought 2 school shoes from Centrepoint for my nephew. BOGO offer was running.
  • Dragon Mart – Only go if you need school supplies in bulk. Pens, copies, bags… everything is cheap but quality is average.

My tip: Don’t go on Friday evening. It’s a nightmare. Thursday night or Saturday morning is best.

Khaleej Times also listed some flash sales happening this week. Worth checking their offre pages before you go.

Back to School 2026: Where to Buy Cheap in UAE

School is starting in 2 weeks and I’m already getting messages from other parents. “Bags mehnge hain” “Uniform kahan se lein” 😂

Relax. You don’t need to spend 500 AED. Here’s where I’m buying stuff this year:

1. Stationery and Books

Carrefour and Lulu are running “Back to School” aisles. I got 10 notebooks, pens, and glue for under 40 AED last week. Amazon.ae also has bundle deals. Just check 2 days before delivery.

2. School Bags and Lunch Boxes

Skip the branded stores. Go to Centrepoint or Max. Same quality, half price. My son’s Jansport-style bag was 89 AED instead of 220 AED.

3. Uniforms and Shoes

Most schools have their own supplier. But for PE kits and shoes, try Splash or Shoexpress. They always have “Buy 1 Get 1” in August.

Real talk: Don’t buy everything in one day. Make a list. Buy essentials first. Then wait for the last week sale. Prices drop more.

Some schools also post supply lists online. And if you need help with school timings and buses, read my Dubai school Guide.

Pro Tips: How to Save More During Dubai Summer Sales

Discounts are good, but if you don’t shop smart, you’ll still overspend. I made that mistake last year 😅

Here are 3 things that actually worked for me this month:

1. Use Your Credit Card Offers

Most UAE banks are giving 10% to 20% cashback in malls. I used my Emirates NBD card in Dubai Mall and got 50 AED back instantly. Check your bank app before you go.

2. Download Mall Apps + Voucher Codes

Dubai Mall and MOE apps have extra coupons. I found a 15% off code for Foot Locker that wasn’t advertised anywhere. Also check Cobone for deals.

3. Go Early and Go on Weekdays

Friday and Saturday are packed. I went to Ibn Battuta on a Tuesday at 11am. No line, full stock, and staff had time to help. Plus parking was free for 4 hours.

Bonus tip: Don’t buy just because it’s on sale. Ask yourself “do I really need this?” I saved 300 AED by doing that.

Sales end by end of August, so you still have time. But the good sizes go fast.

No. Carrefour, Lulu, and even online stores like Amazon.ae and Noon have big discounts. I found cheaper notebooks online than in stores last week.

Tuesday to Thursday morning. Less crowd, more sizes available. I made the mistake of going on Friday. Never again.

Final Thoughts

Look, Dubai Summer Sales 2026 are actually worth it this year. I’ve already done 2 shopping trips and saved a good amount.

If you have kids, get the school stuff done this week. Prices will only go up closer to September.

My advice? Make a list, pick 2 malls max, and go on a weekday morning. Don’t get distracted by stuff you don’t need.

Hope this helps you save some dirhams 😊
